This GitHub project converts PS5 games into native PC games
Found this on GitHub and thought it was pretty interesting. It’s called AnyPS5 and instead of emulating the PS5, it actually converts PS5 executables into native Windows or Linux programs. So basically, the idea is to get PS5 games running directly on your PC without needing a traditional emulator. It’s still very early, but they’ve already got Dreaming Sarah running at 60 FPS on a GTX 1050 Ti, which is pretty impressive. Obviously don’t expect to be playing Spider-Man 2 or Demon’s Souls with this anytime soon lol. Still, I think it’s a really cool approach, especially for game preservation. Curious to see how far they can take it. https://github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5 Just found this on YouTube: https://youtu.be/xXGlZ0I752c
Oh, and speaking of native ports, someone actually managed to port the PS4 version of Bloodborne to Windows. Apparently it’s already playable, with support for 60 FPS and even FSR. Pretty crazy considering Sony still hasn’t given us an official PC port lol. https://github.com/Mrsuss60/bloodborne_pc_windows_port
