NFL suspends two officials after separate Week 4 incidents
The NFL has suspended line judge Jeff Seeman for two games and referee Adrian Hill for one after separate incidents involving players during Week 4, The Associated Press reports. Seeman was disciplined after swearing at Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during a dispute over a no-call. Hill was suspended after yelling at Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson, who had tried to help him up after a collision knocked the referee down. The league said both suspensions were for unprofessional conduct. The penalties put the NFL's standards for officials under scrutiny alongside the conduct rules enforced against players.
