Delete your Mushimu account
This page covers Mushimu accounts used on mushimu.com and in the Mushimu Android app. You can request deletion here without installing the app.
Delete from account settings
Sign in on the website, open Settings, then Delete account. Confirm with your current password or the Google account connected to Mushimu. This action is permanent.
Cannot sign in? Request deletion by email
Send your request to [email protected], preferably from the email registered to your account. Include your Mushimu username and say that you want your account and associated data deleted. Never send your password or recovery codes.
Email [email protected] to request deletion
Support must verify that you own the account before processing the request. Sending an email does not delete an account automatically. You will be contacted if more information is needed.
What deletion removes
The deletion process removes your account, profile, credentials, posts, comments and account preferences. It removes your chat message contents and associated account activity. Uploaded files are scheduled for storage cleanup after your account is deleted.
Some records may be retained for security or legal obligations, and copies may remain temporarily in backups. See the retention section of the privacy policy. Support can explain any retention that applies to your request.
